ERISA Suit Against CSC To Go Forward In Calif.

Law360, New York (April 15, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- After a long dispute about proper venue, a class action against Computer Sciences Corporation alleging that the company mismanaged its employees' pensions was transferred last week to a California court, where it is set to go forward.

The employees originally filed the case in September 2006 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York, where the technology company was under investigation for options backdating. CSC moved to transfer the case to the Central District of California, and the case got “bogged down,”...
