Second Circuit Weighs Calorie-Posting Stay

Law360, New York (April 29, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- As the great calorie-posting debate continues, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit has extended a temporary stay while it considers whether to issue a full stay pending the New York Restaurant Association's appeal of the proposed New York health initiative.

On Tuesday, a three-member panel of the Second Circuit listened to arguments from plaintiff NYSRA and the city on whether a full stay should be granted.
