Philly Corpse Harvesters Face Lawsuit From Families

Law360 (April 30, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Philadelphia families whose deceased loved ones were allegedly dismembered and sold in a body-parts-harvesting ring filed a proposed class action on Tuesday against the funeral directors involved in the scandal.

The lawsuit, filed in the Philadelphia Common Court, represents hundreds of residents who claim that their relatives' body parts were taken for medical use without their consent.
