KBR Asks High Court To Mull Appeal Over Iraq Pollution

Law360, New York (August 4, 2014, 1:53 PM EDT) -- Government contractor KBR Inc. has asked the U.S. Supreme Court to weigh in on whether soldiers can sue it for allegedly exposing them to toxins at a water treatment plant in Iraq, claiming the political question doctrine and the Federal Tort Claims Act bar the state-law tort claims.
