Adelphia Trustee Joins Clamor Against $9M Fee

Law360 (May 19, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. trustee overseeing Adelphia Communications Corp.'s Chapter 11 case has sided with the reorganized debtors, their fee committee and the unsecured creditors in opposing a $9 million fee request that has become a contentious issue in the six-year-old bankruptcy.

Trustee Diana G. Adams filed an objection Friday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York opposing the amended final fee application of Chanin Capital Partners LLC, which served as financial adviser to the equity security holders committee in the case....
