McKesson Plotted To Fix Drug Prices, City Claims

Law360, New York (May 20, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- San Francisco city officials have targeted McKesson Corp. with a lawsuit alleging the medical company conspired to manipulate pharmaceutical drug prices, costing consumers hundreds of millions of dollars.

City Attorney Dennis Herrera and the San Francisco Health Plan, a city-sponsored program that provides health insurance to low-income residents, filed the suit Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
