Nielsen $1M OT Settlement Revised After Judge Slammed Deal

LLC employees claiming they were denied overtime and breaks cut down a proposed settlement to $1 million on Friday, responding to a California federal judge's criticism that unclaimed money would go back to Nielsen.

The new settlement is less than the $1.2 million proposal the plaintiffs and Nielsen asked for in May, but the plaintiffs said the full value of the settlement minus attorneys' fees and costs would go class members.
