Third-Party Complaints Dismissed In Suprema Suit

Law360 (June 4, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Auditors and cheese mongers entwined in shareholder litigation stemming from an accounting scandal at now-bankrupt New Jersey cheese retailer Suprema Specialties Inc. have won a dismissal of the third-party claims against them.

U.S. Senior District Judge William H. Walls of the District of New Jersey on Monday dismissed several claims that Mark Cocchiolas and the late Marco Cocchiolas brought against a slew of individuals and companies blamed in the scandal, including auditing firm BDO Seidman LLP and four of its accountants.
