Airbus Delays Spur Insider Trading Allegations

Law360, New York (June 16, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The fallout from the production problems with the Airbus A380 superjumbo airplane, which has already spawned multiple investigations in France, has found its way into American courtrooms with the filing of two proposed class actions alleging securities fraud and insider trading.

Both suits were filed Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York on behalf of investors who bought shares of Airbus' parent company, European Aeronautic Defence and Space Co. on the Paris, Frankfurt or Madrid stock exchanges. EADS is not...
