Wireless Companies Fight Over Telecom Licenses

Law360, New York (June 24, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A group of wireless companies has sued several rivals for allegedly trying to lock out competition in the market for wireless services to be used in a federal transportation initiative by obtaining licenses from the Federal Communications Commission without providing services.

The lawsuit was filed on Friday in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey by the Skybridge Spectrum Foundation, Telesaurus VPC LLC, AMTS Consortium LLC and Intelligent Transportation Wireless & Monitoring LLC against Mobex Network Services LLC, its parent company Maritime Communications/Land...
