NJ Settles Dispute Over Zoning Law That Blocked Mosque

Law360, New York (January 27, 2015, 6:40 PM EST) -- A New Jersey town has settled a federal lawsuit over an allegedly discriminatory zoning law that Muslim plaintiffs say blocked their plans for a mosque for $7.75 million, agreeing to allow the Al Falah Center to build at an alternative Bridgewater Township site.

The United States Court of Appeals For the Third Circuit on Monday dismissed the nearly four-year-old lawsuit, noting an agreement among the parties.
