Law Firm's Iranian-Targeted Ads Didn't Flout TM, Judge Finds

Law360, New York (February 9, 2015, 3:58 PM EST) -- A California federal judge on Friday nixed claims that Mesriani Law Group ripped off an Iranian-American marketing firm’s trademark by using similar “08” sequences in its telephone number in advertising campaigns directed to Iranian customers, saying the customers know the firms offer totally different services.
