Simon & Schuster, Tommy Hilfiger Face Unpaid-Intern Suits

By Kurt Orzeck (February 23, 2015, 8:06 PM EST) -- Simon & Schuster Inc., Tommy Hilfiger USA Inc. and Fendi North America Inc. are the latest companies to face proposed class actions in New York state court accusing them of misclassifying their interns as ineligible for minimum wages, according to Friday filings.

The three suits were lodged by attorneys at Virginia & Ambinder LLP and Leeds Brown Law PC, the same firms representing former interns who filed similar complaints last month against CBS Corp., Rolling Stone, retailer Lacoste and fashion firm The House of Z LLC.
