Motorola Sues Executive Who Jumped To Apple

Law360, New York (July 18, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Cell phone maker Motorola Inc., which has been steadily losing market share to its rivals over the last year, sued a former executive on Thursday, accusing him of taking Motorola trade secrets with him when he jumped ship to Apple Inc.

In the Chancery Division of Illinois' Cook County Circuit Court, Motorola said that Michael Fenger, the company's former senior vice president of mobile devices for Europe, Middle East and Africa, violated a noncompete agreement after he left.
