Adams & Diaco Atty To Give Up License Over DUI Setup

Law360, Miami (March 25, 2015, 8:20 PM EDT) -- Three attorneys at Tampa, Florida-based Adams & Diaco PA who allegedly set up an opposing counsel's drunk driving arrest have reached disciplinary deals in The Florida Bar's ethics cases against them, including revocation of partner Stephen Diaco's license.

Diaco signed a petition Monday for the revocation of his law license in 30 days, with leave for reapplication. He would have to wait five years for that under bar standards and would have to retake the bar exam.

Robert Adams and Adam Filthaut entered conditional consent guilty pleas that would impose upon each lawyer a 91-day suspension and requirement to attend ethics...
