KBR Witheld Docs, $1.2M Scan Fee In DOD Contract, Suit Says

Law360, Houston (April 1, 2015, 10:30 PM EDT) -- Kellogg Brown & Root Services Inc. stiffed a document scanner of $1.2 million and withheld millions of pages the company was subcontracted to scan in order to do its own work for the Department of Defense at a higher price, according to a complaint filed Wednesday in Harris County, Texas.

The Richwood Group Co. alleged in its complaint Wednesday that it was originally assigned to scan as many as 70 million documents as a subcontractor, and KBR pledged to provide the documents to Richwood's Houston facility...
