Video-Sharing Site Pulls TV Clips As NBC, Fox Sue

Law360, New York (July 25, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Video-sharing Web site Redlasso Inc. has suspended blogger access to its video search and clipping mechanism in response to a lawsuit filed by NBC Universal Inc. and Fox Television Stations Inc., alleging that the Web site’s content infringes on the networks’ copyrighted programming.

The suspension, announced Friday, prompted protest from some bloggers. The Web site will continue to provide services to Redlasso's business and radio clients.
