Penn National Pushes Pa. House Panel For Online Gaming

Law360, New York (May 6, 2015, 5:25 PM EDT) -- Penn National Gaming Inc. pushed lawmakers Wednesday at a Pennsylvania House Gaming Oversight Committee hearing for an online gaming bill that is friendly to the brick-and-mortar establishments and for new property tax incentives.

In the hearing, Penn National urged state lawmakers for casino-favorable votes on a number of pending gaming bills, and requested that the commission push forward on an online gambling bill that would give casinos a key to the emerging market. The company also asked the committee to consider approving certain new capital improvement tax incentives for casinos.
