NC Judge Pulls Plug On Contract Row Over Axed HGTV Show

By Linda Chiem (May 6, 2015, 2:03 PM EDT) -- A North Carolina magistrate judge recommended Tuesday that a homebuilder and real estate investor's suit, alleging they were bilked when Home and Garden Television abruptly pulled production on a show called "Flip it Forward," be booted because there were no enforceable contracts.

U.S. Magistrate Judge David C. Keesler said there were numerous holes in the suit lobbed by homebuilder Preservation Professional Services LLC and residential real estate investor Journey Investment Group LLC alleging HGTV and its production partner M2 Pictures LLC abruptly canceled "Flip It Forward" after the plaintiffs had already put in time and money doing work on the show....
