IBM Could Face Another European Antitrust Action

Law360, New York (August 11, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Weeks after IBM Corp. bought out one mainframe manufacturer that had filed an antitrust complaint against it before the European Commission, a U.S. mainframe supplier has announced plans to file a new complaint against the computer giant in Europe.

T3 Technologies Inc., a small mainframe supplier based in Tampa, Fla., said in a statement Monday that it had retained London-based law firm Berwin Leighton Paisner LLP and met with the EC's Directorate General for Competition in anticipation of the filing against IBM.
