Texas Court Hits Trinity With $663M FCA Judgment

Law360, Dallas (June 9, 2015, 5:37 PM EDT) -- A Texas federal judge tripled a $175 million False Claims Act verdict against Trinity Industries Inc. on Tuesday and assessed more than $138 million in penalties following a jury's verdict in October that the company defrauded the U.S. government by selling it defective guardrails.
