Suit Claims Weight Watchers Food Could Kill

Law360, New York (August 21, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A former weight loss group leader at Weight Watchers is suing the dieting company on claims that she was fired for refusing to sell company-produced snack foods that she said were killing people, her attorneys announced Thursday.

Regina Nathe, who served as a group leader in upstate Ulster County, N.Y., from 1986 through her dismissal in February 2005, originally filed the suit in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York in May 2006. A second amended complaint was filed last September....
