Fish & Richardson, Former Partner Settle Dispute

Law360, New York (August 22, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Fish & Richardson PC has settled litigation arising from its attempt to claim ownership in several patents developed by former partner Scott Harris, who was ousted from the firm last year after patents he developed were used against firm clients Dell Inc. and Google Inc.

In a joint motion filed last week in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, Harris and Fish agreed to drop their claims against one another with prejudice.
