Sprint To Pay $1M Over 'Dirty' Cell Phone Numbers

Law360, New York (August 26, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Sprint Nextel Corp. has agreed to fork over $1 million to settle a proposed class action lawsuit accusing the company of providing subscribers with “dirty” cellular telephone numbers encumbered with pre-existing billing obligations, allegedly resulting in unauthorized charges to consumers.
