GE Should See Court In Asbestos Death Suit, 3rd Circ. Says

Law360, New York (July 8, 2015, 3:43 PM EDT) -- A woman suing General Electric Co. over her father's death from mesothelioma allegedly caused by exposure to asbestos in GE-designed military jet engines should see her day in court, the Third Circuit said Tuesday, overturning a New Jersey federal judge's ruling.

The three-judge appellate panel said that the lower court was wrong to toss claims by Susan Haas on summary judgment.
