Cable Installers Sue Comcast Over FLSA Violations

Law360, New York (August 29, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Cable technicians for telecommunications giant Comcast Corp. have filed a putative class action against their employer, alleging that the company misclassified them as independent workers in order to avoid paying them overtime wages and claiming that such labor law violations have run rampant on the Gulf Coast since Hurricane Katrina.
