UBS Again Asks To Be Dismissed From Gold Fix MDL

By Benjamin Horney (July 14, 2015, 6:06 PM EDT) -- UBS AG on Tuesday doubled down on its attempt to have tossed claims that it conspired with other banks to fix the price of gold, reiterating to the court that the allegations against it are baseless and therefore should be dismissed.

According to UBS, its inclusion in the lawsuit is erroneous because it "never participated in the Gold Fix" with the other defendants, which include Barclays Bank PLC, HSBC Bank PLC and Deutsche Bank AG.
