Adelphia Amends Plan To Include Asset Sale

Law360, New York (June 6, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Adelphia Communication Corp. has modified its Chapter 11 plan to gear up for the sale of its assets to Time Warner Inc.’s NY Cable and Comcast Corp. after a bankruptcy judge cleared the way for the sale.

The New York cable company filed the plan with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York, following Judge Robert Gerber’s decision to block a small cable television channel from disrupting the impending sale.
