WWE Hits Thai Broadcasting Co. With $4M Contract Suit

Law360, New York (August 10, 2015, 4:12 PM EDT) -- World Wrestling Entertainment Inc. sued a Thai broadcasting company for breach of contract Monday, claiming the cable provider owes more than $4 million in licensing fees for broadcasting events like WWE Raw and SmackDown.

In a lawsuit filed in Connecticut federal court, WWE said CTH Content Company Ltd. hasn’t paid several invoices dating back to March 2014, the first year of a multi-year deal CTH signed to broadcast WWE programs in Thailand.
