Appeals Court Revives Suit Between Xerox And Palm

Law360 (June 8, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal appeals court has overturned a 2004 ruling that granted summary judgment to Palm Inc., resurrecting a long-running patent suit between Xerox Corp. and Palm over handwriting recognition technology used in personal digital assistants.

Thursday, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit sent the case between Xerox and Palm back to the district court in Rochester, N.Y.
