Sales Reps Throw Book At Scholastic Unit

Law360, New York (September 18, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The book fair division of children's book publisher Scholastic Corp. is facing a putative collective action from inside sales representatives in Florida who claim that the company failed to pay them overtime wages in violation of the federal Fair Labor Standards Act.

Lead plaintiff Yassine Benzinane filed the suit on behalf of a similarly situated class of individuals on Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
