D-Link Bid To Move Trial Denied Again

Law360 (June 14, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- D-Link Systems Inc.’s longstanding attempt to move a patent suit over an Ethernet cable technology from Texas to New York City suffered yet another setback this month when the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit refused its request for a writ of mandamus.

Barring any further motions by D-Link, the original case, in which rival Network-1 Security Solutions, Inc. sued D-Link for patent infringement, will continue in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
