Court Refuses To Chuck MSG Suit Against NHL

Law360 (October 13, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal district judge has partially shot down a request by the National Hockey League to throw out a competition dispute with Madison Square Garden, ruling that the complaint adequately alleges antitrust injury.

On Friday, U.S. District Judge Loretta Preska handed the NHL a mixed bag, partially granting and partially denying the motion to dismiss or in the alternative, grant summary judgment.
