Female Attys Make Modest Gains In Partner Promotions

Law360, New York (November 10, 2015, 6:44 PM EST) -- Female lawyers nabbed 34.4 percent of new partner promotions at major firms this year, according a survey released Tuesday, marking a modest jump from 2014, when 32 percent of such promotions went to women.

The data collected by the Diversity & Flexibility Alliance also revealed fewer law firms — 14, down from last year's 16 — reporting that they promoted no women to partner in their U.S. offices.
