Sava Execs Not Sued As Nursing Home Officers, Insurer Says

By Dani Kass (November 12, 2015, 7:51 PM EST) -- Beazley Insurance Co. argued Wednesday it need not cover a successful lawsuit against two former SavaSeniorCare LLC officials over a a real estate investor's option to acquire the company, because they were not sued as directors and officers of the nursing home operator.

The underlying suit, brought by investor Rubin Schron, had targeted former Sava directors Leonard Grunstein and Murray Forman as Schron's attorney and financial adviser, not for their roles in Sava, Beazley told a Georgia federal court in a reply brief Wednesday.
