Texas Court Says Jury Fraud Claims Nullify $3M Ford Deal

By Adam Sege (November 12, 2015, 10:23 PM EST) -- A Texas appeals court ruled Thursday that Ford Motor Co. does not have to pay a $3 million settlement from a rollover accident lawsuit due to allegations of jury tampering, reversing course after the current case was sent back by the state's highest court.

The Thirteenth District Court of Appeals decision followed a Texas Supreme Court ruling last year, which overturned the Thirteenth District's prior ruling and said the auto giant had presented legally sufficient evidence to back its tampering accusations.
