Orioles Told To Meet With Minor Leaguers In Discovery Fight

By Zachary Zagger (November 13, 2015, 6:28 PM EST) -- A California federal judge overseeing a wage-and-hour lawsuit by a group of minor league baseball players against Major League Baseball and several of its teams on Friday ordered one of the teams dismissed from the suit, the Baltimore Orioles, to attempt to hash out a lingering discovery dispute transferred from Maryland federal court.

U.S. District Judge Joseph C. Spero ordered the minor leaguers and the Orioles to meet and confer to resolve demands by the players that the team hand over certain documents they say are needed in their lawsuit accusing MLB and its teams of denying minor leaguers minimum wage...
