Chinese Nationals Charged In Plot To Steal Military Chips

Law360, Washington (December 11, 2015, 7:08 PM EST) -- Federal prosecutors said Thursday that three Chinese nationals were arrested in Connecticut over an alleged scheme to steal sophisticated military-grade semiconductors from the U.S. Navy and illegally export them to parts unknown.

Daofu Zhang, 50; Jiang Guanghou Yan aka "Ben," 33; and Xianfeng Zuo, 37, were arrested in Milford on Thursday after arriving in the country earlier this month allegedly seeking to buy stolen Navy semiconductors from what turned out to be an undercover agent, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Connecticut.
