Comcast Ignoring Gospel Deal: Lawsuit

Law360 (July 10, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A regional network has followed through on its threat to sue cable giant Comcast Corp. for antitrust violations, seeking $150 million from the company for alleged conflict of interest in business deals and for stunting the reach of its programming.

The plaintiff, Southern Entertainment Television Inc. (SET), said that Comcast failed to follow through on a distribution deal in place between SET and AT&T Broadband, Comcast’s successor in interest to the agreement.
