Bleacher Report Accused Of Flouting NFLer Pics' Copyrights

Law360, New York (January 12, 2016, 3:08 PM EST) -- Sports blog Bleacher Report was accused of copyright infringement in California federal court Monday for allegedly publishing pictures of New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski without permission.

Entertainment news agency BWP Media USA Inc. and its consumer front, Pacific Coast News, claim in their complaint that the sports blog ran BWP's copyrighted photos of the NFL player alongside an April story, willfully using them to drive traffic and reaping increased ad revenue, brand awareness, and merchandise and ticket sales as a result.
