Judge Pulls 'Hedge Fund Wives' From Web

Law360 (October 29, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Parts of the upcoming novel "Hedge Fund Wives," which sparked a copyright lawsuit between novelist Tatiana Boncompagni Hoover and her older sister this week, have been pulled from the Internet after a judge granted Hoover's motion for a restraining order.

The order was issued Tuesday by Judge Shira Scheindlin of the Southern District of New York. It requires Hoover's sister Natasha Boncompagni to remove excerpts from the novel, which Hoover claims she stole, from two Web sites Boncompagni had set up. Those sites have been shut...
