Cuomo Demands Information On Bank Bonuses

Law360 (October 29, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- New York Attorney General Andrew Cuomo has asked nine banks expected to receive capital from the $700 billion bailout passed earlier this year to provide information about how they will award bonuses.

Cuomo sent the letter Wednesday to the directors of Bank of America Corp., Bank of New York Mellon Corp., Citigroup Inc., Goldman Sachs Group Inc., JPMorgan Chase & Co., Merrill Lynch & Co., Morgan Stanley Inc., State Street Corp. and Wells Fargo & Co.
