RJ Reynolds, Philip Morris Beat $3M Engle Suit At Trial

Law360, Los Angeles (February 23, 2016, 1:25 PM EST) -- R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. and Philip Morris USA Inc. on Tuesday won a defense verdict in a $3 million Engle progeny suit brought by a woman alleging their cigarettes caused her lung cancer and disease, with a Florida jury finding that her ailments did not develop within the class period.
