Real Estate Rumors: UBS, Sutherland Asbill, Signature Bank

By Andrew McIntyre (March 7, 2016, 1:32 PM EST) -- UBS AG has signed a 13-year extension lease for 120,000 square feet at 299 Park Ave. in New York, the Real Deal reported on Friday. The new lease, for space on floors eight, nine, 24 and 25, will take effect in 2018 when the firm's current lease expires, according to the report. UBS will have the option to extend the 13-year lease for another five years, Real Deal said. UBS had 466,000 square feet at the property in 2000, but over the years has been downsizing at the building, Real Deal said....
