DOJ Hacks Shooter’s IPhone, Drops Apple Suit

Law360, Los Angeles (March 28, 2016, 6:43 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Justice said Monday it was able to access data on a mass shooting suspect’s iPhone without Apple’s help and asked the California federal judge who had ordered Apple to help it to vacate that ruling.
