People's Choice Settlements Get Preliminary OK

Law360 (December 2, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- A bankruptcy judge on Monday preliminarily approved settlements between a trustee and former employees of People's Choice Home Loan Inc. seeking payments under the Worker Adjustment Retraining and Notification Act and California law.

Any objections to the settlements, reached in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California, are due prior to a Feb. 3 fairness hearing.
