Florida Takes Step To Curb Auto Emissions

Law360 (December 3, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Following California's lead, the Florida Environmental Regulation Commission has moved to adopt the Golden State's stance on auto emissions standards in an attempt to counteract global warming.

On Tuesday, the commission signed off on the plan by a vote of six to one, passing two amendments to the proposal first introduced by Gov. Charlie Crist.
