Law360, Philadelphia (April 26, 2016, 7:39 PM EDT) -- Wendy's was slapped with a putative class action in Pennsylvania federal court Tuesday aimed at recouping costs borne by financial institutions after customer account information was stolen during a data breach at the fast-food giant.
First Choice Federal Credit Union seeks to represent a class of financial institutions that were allegedly forced to reimburse customers for fraudulent transactions that occurred after hackers stole credit and debit card information from The Wendy's Co. between October 2015 and March 2016.
