By Andrew McIntyre ( May 9, 2016, 1:00 PM EDT) -- Houston real estate investment trust Weingarten Realty Investors has picked up a South Florida mall from an affiliate of Cornfield Properties for $86.75 million, according to a report on Monday from the South Florida Business Journal. The deal is for the Deerfield Mall, a 411,712-square-foot property located at 3650-4060 W. Hillsboro Blvd., the journal said. The property traded hands in 2014 for $51.27 million, and was built in 1989, according to the report....
