Orlando Sentinel Faces FLSA Class Action

Law360 (December 12, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Florida newspaper publisher Orlando Sentinel Communications Co. has been hit with a proposed class action alleging that it avoided paying some of its employees for overtime by misclassifying them as exempt.

Michael Yaksh, who worked as a single zone copy manager for the Orlando Sentinel within the last three years, filed the complaint on Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
